Welcome to the Tyne Valley Canoe Club calendar. In order to see what's happening in the club, just click on the month you wish to look at.

Efforts are made to keep the Club events calendar up to date. However, some trips and events are organized at short notice and may not be included on the calendar. In this case, members are requested to keep in touch by checking with event organizers when attending club meets and by regularly checking the club notice board. If you have expressed a prior interest in participating in certain trips and events the coach, leader or organizer will contact you by email.

 
 

 

Club Sessions:

During the summer months (between March/April and September) the club meets on Friday evenings at theTyne Riverside Park in Low Prudhoe. Paddlesport activities take place on the River Tyne starting at 6.30pm.

During the winter season (between September and March/April) the club runs an indoor pool session on Friday evenings at the Prudhoe Waterworld Leisure Centre. The club meets between 8.00pm and 8.15pm for registration. Changing is from 8.15pm with canoeing activities starting at 8.30pm. Please note: this is a TVCC organized session and all inquiries should be directed through the club.

Throughout the year the club organizes trips, social activities and events for its membership. These are usually advertised in the club calendar and newsletter. Paddlesport activities are organized to embrace a range of different disciplines including open canoeing, sea kayaking and river kayaking. Regular coaching sessions, trips and competition events are arranged to take advantage of weekends and school holiday periods.
