Sea conditions
were perfect with a flat calm sea and a no wind for the groups
second qualifying coastal sea journey. The paddle was from ‘Druridge
Bay’ Country Park to Coquet Island and return, which is a journey of
about 10 statute miles. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and
viewed one or two puffins swimming around the island near the Light
House and on the north side a number of seals basking in the sun on
the rocks made their presence known as the group approached.
