From Blyth Beach to St Mary’s Island is a paddle of about 10 statute miles including the return journey. It is an ideal journey for paddlers venturing out on the sea for the first time. The group who are working up to their 3 star sea kayak award used this trip to extend their logged qualifying trips as well as an opportunity to practice their deepwater rescues.
