After a series of sessions at the Tyne Riverside a group of novice kayakers took to the water on their first river trip and took part in their first ever Tyne Tour.

All equiped themselves very well and they can all be very proud of their achievements.

The rapid we call 'The Washing Machine' proved very eventful for one of our team who capsized and then seal launched back into the water.
